With classic double rounds up front, five cab lights on the roof, and an old school paint scheme, you would think that Josh Brate’s stunning Peterbilt was much older than it actually is. This 389 combines both old school & new school and the results are a totally cool 2015 that turns heads no matter where driver Jeff Wright takes it. The 266″ wheelbase is “dressed to the nines”, from the custom front bumper to the rear light bar. The truck also features a set of flat top straight pipes, custom fuel tanks, painted fenders over the rear tandems, and a custom deck plate with hidden hook ups. The black paint is complimented perfectly by the silver & grey stripes that flow effortlessly from the outside of the cab right into the interior, as the custom door panels were painted to match the outside of the truck. The interior also features a painted floor, a custom dash, and a sound system that belongs at a rock concert! Power comes from a 550 6NZ CAT engine that’s painted silver to match the stripes and Jeff goes thru the 18 speed transmission effortlessly when he has to pull those hills. Josh wanted to thank his wife for all of her love and support over the years as he’s built Legacy Trucking into the success that it is today. Many late nights have turned Legacy into a winner, and Josh credits all of his drivers for their hard work. He especially wanted to send a big thanks out to Jeff Wright for taking such great care of this 389 and treating it like it was his own truck. With the continued support from family, friends, and staff, it’s certain that Josh Brate and the Legacy Trucking fleet will continue to shine – with this head-turning Peterbilt 389 leading the way!
