The Rolane Transportation fleet is a familiar sight on the roads of Massachusetts, hauling containers full of import and export commodities with their polished grey & black
day cabs that always seem to be shining. When they purchased this 2000 KW W-900L it was your typical work truck but they had a vision of what they wanted it to look like
and that vision turned out to be one to remember! Company owner Neal Spiegel and his son Josh transformed this truck into “the pride of the fleet”. It’s green paint was changed to the familiar
charcoal grey & black Rolane paint colors with custom pin striping and gold leaf lettering. They went thru the whole truck, changing all of the lights to LED’s and adding just the right amount of bling. A 13 1/2″ drop visor was installed, along with a lighted 22″ front bumper and a louvered grille. The air horns were removed from the roof, with low mounted train horns taking their place, along with extra roof lights to fill out the space above the visor. Josh also added a custom lighted tail panel, window chops, a polished rear window visor, and ribbed stainless 1/2 fenders over the rear tandems. You’d never guess that this container hauling beauty has over 900,00 miles on it, thanks to the full face lift that it was given. Power comes from a 6 NZ CAT engine that’s paired with an 18 speed transmission and a set of super 40’s on the rears. Josh runs the day to day operations at Rolane transportation, but he still gets in the driver’s seat when he has to, taking the keys to this “kool K-Dub” and stepping into the black diamond tuck interior that looks as good as the exterior of the truck! Josh enjoys attending various truck shows during the Summer months, representing the trucking industry with style and class. He wanted to send a big thank you out to his dad Neal, for all of his love and support, and for believing in him by allowing him to “take the wheel” at Rolane Transportation. He also credits his wife Niccole and their children for all of their love for always being there for him. His son Braeden actually helps Josh in the company garage, washing trucks and working by his dad’s side when asked. The Rolane Transportation fleet has a number of great looking rides in it, but this 2000 KW is head & shoulders above the rest! Rolane Transportation is a shining example of “old school” work ethics and taking pride in what you drive on a daily basis. The daily grind of fighting thru traffic and making the run, always seems a bit easier when you “have your shine on”, and the Rolane fleet always looks top shelf.
