Our feature truck for July is a baby blue beauty that’s 100% cool! The Transport SP fleet, based in Scott, Quebec, Canada, is made up of a number of great looking working show trucks – each one just a bit different than the last. This 2020 Peterbilt 389 is 270″ of chrome and attitude that makes the SP fleet stand out on the highways they travel. The truck is driven by Pierre-Luc Cyr who calls Laurier-Station, Quebec his home. Pierre-Luc has been driving since 2004 and delivering into the U.S. since 2005. Pierre takes a great deal of pride in keeping this “company truck” looking good and he is the primary driver of this blue beauty. Power comes from an MX-13 Paccar engine that’s paired up with an 18 speed transmission. Pierre’s CB handle is “Pogo”, which is a Canadian brand of corndog, and comes from an old hockey team story. He hauls lumber and various building materials and delivers to PA quite often. In fact, many of his friends joke with Pierre-Luc, telling him his loads to PA are his entire life! The baby blue paint is complimented with a classic white stripe design and custom features on the truck include the front bumper, drop visor, painted fuel tanks with polished straps, and stainless 1/2 fenders over the rears. The roof of the cab features a classic “5 light set-up” and a set of flat top straight pipes give it that roar! We caught up with Pierre-Luc in Norwood, MA, when he was picking up a load of roofing from CertainTeed, and we just beat the rain with our photo shoot! Pierre-Luc Cyr crosses the border in style behind the wheel of this impressive Peterbilt from the Transport SP fleet. C’est un camion magnifique!
